Donate to Krewe
Top 3 Reasons
1. Spaying, neutering and visits to the vets are expensive!
Rescue organizations spend a lot of money on making sure all rescued pets are spayed and neutered, up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations, and address any other medical concerns. There is also more often than not, the animals Krewe takes in are in very bad condition, so all costs related to vet visits, medical assistance and care can be very high. Donating food or pet supplies can help the needy animal rescues a great deal who have to handle so many costs on a day-to-day basis.
2. Abandoned pets need a safe, warm place to live until they are adopted
Animals often get abandoned and they need as much help as they can get. The kind people who work at animal rescues are dedicating their time to making sure these animals get the best care they can until they are adopted. Often these organizations and the people working there only rely on donations to continuously give pets the care they need. Oftentimes the Volunteers pay some of these expenses out of their own pockets!
3. If you donate, maybe your friends will too!
Word of mouth is still a powerful tool to get as many people as possible involved in a charitable action. Even if you donate a very little amount (Every penny counts!) to your favorite charity, you could get your friends to do that too. The snowball effect can turn into something great and can make a big difference.
Don't forget, Krewe de Rescue depends on your donations to save lives!
